Our UltisilTM HPLC columns are made from spherical, totally porous, and ultra high purity (>99.999%) type B silica particles. Our proprietary surface modification before bonding generates a very smooth and uniform surface with less acidic surface silanols.We offer a full line of reversed phases including XB-C18, AQ-C18, XB-C8, XB-Phenyl, and XB-CN and normal phases, Silica and –NH2, to provide a wide range of selectivity.These phases were developed using the state-of-the-art bonding chemistry technology to provide unique performance characteristics to enable the most demanding separations.All the reversed phases are fully end-capped by proprietary techniques to ensure excellent peak shapes and long lifetime.All the bonding, end-capping and packing processes are optimized and well controlled to achieve maximum efficiency, excellent batch-to-batch and column-to-column reproducibility, and longer lifetime.

Ultra pure and totally porous type B silica
We are very pleased by the highest quality of our silica regarding the narrow particle and pore size distribution, the silica purity, the reproducibility, and mechanical stability.The ultra pure, totally porous, and spherical silica is 99.999% pure with metal impurities specified to be less than 10 ppm each for Al, Fe, Ti and Zr.The silica has high surface area (120 m2/g) for strong retention of hydrophobic and polar compounds.Its manufacturing process under strictly controlled conditions produces a material with reproducible surface area and distribution of particle size and pore size.The narrow particle size distribution leads to higher efficiency of our columns.To ensure the best characteristics for chromatographic performance, the silica are further modified using our proprietary rehydroxylation process to totally eliminate performance-degrading small pores, to form optimized pore size (120 Å) for small molecule separation, to enhance mechanical stability, and to generate uniform and inert surface.
A Wide Rang Selectivity of Our Reversed Phase Columns
When optimizing an HPLC separation, column selectivity is one of the most approaches chemist use to achieve the best resolution.We offer a series of different phases to cover a wide rang selectivity of the columns.The XB series are extensively bonded (XB) phases with high C18 coverage and end-capping, including the most popular XB-C18, XB-C8, XB-Phenyl, and XB-CN phases.We also have moderately bonded AQ-C18 phase with moderate coverage for use in highly aqueous mobile phase.All the phases are made from monomeric organic silanes to ensure exceptional batch-to-batch reproducibility and fast mass transfer.They are extensively end-capped using proprietary double end-capping process to ensure the best peak shapes of polar, acidic and basic compounds.
